By accessing or using ContractShield software or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our software or services.

2. Software Licenses

Open Source Core

The ContractShield core library is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the Apache 2.0 license terms.

Pro and Enterprise Licenses

Pro and Enterprise features require a valid commercial license. Licenses are non-transferable and limited to the number of deployments specified in your subscription. License keys must not be shared or published publicly.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent license restrictions
  • Reverse engineer commercial features
  • Use the software for any unlawful purpose
  • Redistribute commercial features without authorization
  • Share license keys with unauthorized parties

4. Payment and Refunds

All purchases are processed through LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. We offer a 14-day free trial for Pro licenses. Refunds may be requested within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not exceeded trial usage limits.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL PREVENT ALL SECURITY VULNERABILITIES OR ATTACKS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING APPROPRIATE SECURITY MEASURES FOR YOUR APPLICATIONS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
